finishing up asap

Sorry for the recent radio silence everyone! Thanks to all who have shared their hexes in action with me! October was a hectic month for me and so, unfortunately, a slow month for getting rewards out. I’m back in high gear now though and reeaallly trying to get this wrapped up ASAP. As far as a list goes, I’m really hopping around and sending out to backers based on what I have ready, so it’s pretty random. There’s no way I’m still having this production line setup in my house for thanksgiving (I’m hosting) so keep an eye out for your tracking number! Thanks

October is here.

Hello everyone,

October is here and, yes, I am still assembling and shipping kits. I didn't get as many out in the last couple weeks as I had hoped. Work and life intervened, but I'm trying to get production back up.

For those asking, you will definitely know when your reward has shipped as you will get a note from me with your tracking number.

Talk to you soon. Until then, Happy Gaming!

Quick update!

Shipping is going well! I had a little slump as the school year started, but am back up.

I believe I am just over 50% of rewards shipped. I am averaging two packages a day, so I should still be on track with my last update, to have them out by end of September.

Thanks to those of you that have shared your assembled DIY kits with me! Would love to see some posted to the project comments for all to check out.

Thanks!

-Justin

Progress: Slow & Steady

Hi Everyone!

Rewards are still coming together and going out slowly but steadily.

In-home processing station, formerly called "the dining room table."

At the pace things are going, which I assure you is the fastest I can go, I estimate the last rewards will ship by the middle of September. I understand this will be frustrating to some, myself included, but I am finding that it is simply the reality of a really successful Kickstarter project run by 1 person. Other than the shear scale of the project, there are a couple of outside factors contributing to this time frame:

  • I had to retool the box design after the campaign.
  • I recently ran into an issue with the thickness of pieces that needed troubleshooting.
  • I have to travel for work for the first two weeks of August.

I was naive to the scope of things after the campaign when I was hopeful to keep my original delivery estimates and I apologize for getting your hopes/expectations up for that. Know that I am not only eager for you to have your 3D Hex Set, but to have this project COMPLETE and move on to new ones that your backing has opened the door to.

And we're back!!!!

Welcome back to the project page, finally! All is resolved with the IP dispute and I'm back to focusing on the important stuff, putting together kits!

Obviously, I am behind. The Kickstarter did incredibly well so I have a TON of kits to put together and I am in the thick of it. My house is full of about 30,000+ parts at the moment. I hit a couple of snags with the box design and had to have a couple more prototypes cut, but the top is now locked in place and slides open/closed.

Know how much I appreciate your patience and that I am working hard to get you your Hex Set ASAP!

Follow my instagram @justingonyea, where I have been doing live video sessions of the incredibly not fun to watch process of dividing parts into baggies...

I am shipping now and am working on a projected goal for EVERYTHING being shipped out that I will share with you once I feel its is accurate.

I will keep you updated. Again, thanks for all of your support and your patience!
